This morning's first view of the adult great horned owl and its owlet, spotted on the Audubon Trail portion of the Colorado River Trail System in Grand Junction, Colorado.
A second owlet could be seen in the tree that houses the original nest. These guys have been venturing away from the nest for a couple of weeks now. There were originally three owlets.
