Pirate Poet and Drunken Musician

I awoke to do housework

It waited on me

A knock on the wooden door

Then louder came three

The poet was there with one

I did not yet know

Drunken air preceded him

Faster than his slow

Pacing around and cussing

Too loud for small rooms

Attached to other's places

Their morning was doomed

"A singer" said the poet

"A good one at that"

And the singer succeeded

In proving just that

Song for presidents

Vice presidents too

Of some mad outlaw leaders

Insane things they do

Poet read his latest poem

On pirates at sea

Life lived by those who roamed

Romance, mystery

Patriots Act song showed up

Made itself well known

Then the drunken musician

And poet went home
