"Turpito" (from Turpitude): An individual who single-handedly destroys, ruins, or "sinks" the chances of success for a particular group (ex. political party, company, etc.) with which he or she is affiliated, as a direct result of that person's "morally depraved" or "wicked" acts coming to the public's attention.
