Free

So here I am, in this,
the place that I had imagined.

Life here is not how I thought
that it might be.

But I am here,
and that is what matters.

A chance to start over,
and make things better.

A chance to walk through the world
in a whole new way.

A chance
to really be free.

I could choose to face this reality
in a hundred different ways.

The challenge is to find the right way,
and to follow it.

My choices have led me to this day.

I am free.
